Trumbull EMS held a food drive Wednesday for the people struggling during the pandemic.
Local leaders and community members came out Wednesday to help out the Trumbull Food Pantry.
"They have all of the protective gear, so they can take the food, we can use the ambulance for transportation and we can take it to the food bank," said David Rutigliano.
The EMS typically holds two food drives a year.
"There are so many pressures that are on our community from this public health emergency, that they need even more help than normal and we are doing our best to facilitate that," said Trumbull Chief of EMS Leigh Goodman.
