SCHOOL CLOSINGS: Closings, delays and schedule changes in Connecticut
11ds agoState Sen. Sujata Gadkar-Wilcox announced that the Trump administration has terminated "We the People: Civics that Empower All Students."
The program elimination was part of widespread cuts to the U.S. Department of Education.
Gadkar-Wilcox noted the decision came just weeks after Trumbull students won a national championship sponsored by the program.
