The FAA is giving Tweed New Haven Airport a $2,500,000 grant to build a new 75,000-square-foot passenger terminal.

Airport officials say the improvements are long overdue. 

Passengers are currently using a terminal that's nearly 100 years old, undersized and is susceptible to flooding.
