Norwalk officials have issued a warning this morning for homeowners after two coyotes were seen around Flax Hill Park.

Norwalk officials have issued a warning this morning for homeowners after two coyotes were seen around Flax Hill Park.
Pet owners in that area are urged to keep their dogs always leashed and in sight.
Never feed coyotes, and remove bird seed, fallen fruit and pet food from outside areas.
Secure all garbage and compost in animal-proof containers.
If approached by a coyote while walking a pet, calmly leave the area.
It is advised to not run or turn your back.
