Norwalk police are stepping up patrols after 11 car burglaries in two days.
Investigators say the highest hit areas have been the shopping plazas along Main Ave and the parking garage at south Norwalk train station. Since Monday four cars have been broken into at the train station. Police say in each case the damage has been the same: broken windows, broken door locks and stolen valuables.
While police study surveillance tape, they remind people to watch where they park and lock their doors.
