Two Bridgeport men have been arrested for a home invasion early Sunday morning.
Police say they broke into a house on Kent Avenue on the East Side shortly after midnight. The people living at the home were inside when the suspect broke in and called 911 when they heard an intruder.
When police arrived, they saw a person wearing a ski mask walking out of the front door. The person surrendered and initially gave a false name, before being identified as Michael Lozada, 21.
After entering a damaged back door, police found another person wearing a ski mask, identified as Syncaire Williams, 20, who was smashing a kitchen window in an attempt to escape. Williams had the 911 caller's wallet on him.
The suspects' car in the driveway of the home was found with a stolen license plate attached to it.
Lozada and Williams charges both include home invasion, burglary in the first degree, and disorderly conduct.
