Two Norwalk police officers are on medication and resting at home after coming in contact with a man that died of a rare form of meningitis.
According to police, the 39-year-old Bridgeport man was taken to Norwalk Hospital by ambulance after flagging down the two officers sometime last week. The officers were on patrol near the Pulse Pointe bus depot.
The officers are expected to be back on the job later this week or next week once doctors give them a clean bill of health.
