Unemployment rates in Connecticut are slightly higher than the national average.
"When you look at the state of Connecticut, the unemployment rate is slightly higher county by county than it is across the United States," said Caleb Silver of the financial media website Investopedia.
The job market is continuing to grow in Connecticut.
