A University of Bridgeport student is facing serious charges for allegedly stabbing another student.
The incident took place shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday on campus in the sixth-floor hallway of Bodine Hall. Nineteen-year-old Andre Campbell, of Brooklyn, is set to go before a judge Wednesday on charges including criminal intent to murder. Police say Kyle Boucher, 20, was stabbed in the torso and the leg. He is listed in stable condition at Bridgeport Hospital. Investigators say Campbell surrendered after the incident and was taken into custody.
