A U.S. senator from Connecticut is sounding the alarm over the Trump administration’s plan for Iran.
Sen. Chris Murphy criticized the Trump administration’s plan on Iran at a Middle East Institute event in Washington.
In a Facebook post following the event, Murphy reiterated his criticism of the administration's plan.
“Some of us have been briefed on the war plan,” said Murphy. “While I cannot disclose any details, I can say this: the plan is insane. It will not achieve objectives and will set off a new cycle of escalation.”
The White House has not confirmed the plan.
