Vice President Harris delivers keynote address at Coast Guard Academy in Connecticut

Vice President Kamala Harris was in New London Wednesday to deliver the keynote address at the United States Coast Guard Academy's commencement ceremony.
More than 250 cadets graduated as officers Wednesday.
"You will be doing the critical work to protect our county," Harris said.
The vice president told the cadets how she sees the world and the role these graduates will play in it.
Harris spoke about Russia and foreign policy and defending what is right.
She also spoke about domestic policy, the Buffalo shooting and the hate that is so prevalent in this country currently.
Among the cadets was a Ukrainian native who received a standing ovation when he was recognized by the vice president.
The vice president went on to tell the class of 2022 they have come of age in a post-9/11 world and said they must learn from the past and not be limited by it.
