Water pressure restored to normal in Belleville following Tuesday water main break
Water pressure has been
restored to normal in Belleville following this week’s massive
water main break. At least 99% of those affected have had water restored,
according to the mayor's office.
A water advisory remains
in effect along the Newark/Belleville border in Branch Brook Park.
Those who still have discoloration in their water
should run the faucets for a few minutes until the discoloration disappears. Belleville Water Department is
taking water samples throughout the township.
Water distribution is
taking place in Bloomfield until 9 p.m. at the
Library/Civic Center parking lot on State Street.
