Wave Hill Breads issues voluntary recall for frozen cookie dough logs sold in Norwalk

The recall was prompted by undeclared wheat, milk and soy allergens in the products, which could pose a serious or life-threatening risk for people with severe allergies or sensitivities to these ingredients.

Wave Hill Breads issued a voluntary recall on Thursday for the frozen cookie dough logs sold at their Norwalk location and various Connecticut farmers markets.

The recall was prompted by undeclared wheat, milk and soy allergens in the products, which could pose a serious or life-threatening risk for people with severe allergies or sensitivities to these ingredients.

The recalled items include:

  • Frozen Cookie Dough Log, Chocolate Chip, 24 ounces

  • Frozen Cookie Dough Log, Oatmeal Cranberry, 24 ounces

  • Frozen Cookie Dough Log, Snickerdoodle, 24 ounces

  • Frozen Cookie Dough Log, Ginger Molasses, 24 ounces

The products can be identified by their labeled flavors, their rolled log form and white parchment paper wrapping sealed with green twist ties.

No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recall.

Consumers who purchased the affected products are urged to return them to Wave Hill Breads at 239 Westport Ave. in Norwalk for a full refund.
