Weapon scares at two Bronx schools Tuesday have officials and students on high alert.
According to police, an 11-year-old student brought a toy gun to P.S. 4 on Fulton Avenue. Police say the student threatened to shoot his peers and a teacher during class. Authorities say an older student gave the 11-year-old the gun. Both students are facing suspension. Police issued the student who made the threat a juvenile report.
Meanwhile, a student brought a loaded BB gun into the William Lloyd Garrison School on East 156th Street. School officials say the 11-year-old didn?t threaten anyone and just showed his teacher the BB gun. The teacher reported the incident and police issued the student a juvenile report.
