This week's We're Open takes us to Code Ninjas.

The afterschool program teaches kids how to code by creating their own video games.

The owner of the Trumbull and Fairfield locations, Anu Kothandaraman, says she loves helping kids learn.

“That's the best part of the whole thing, when a child walks out with a big smile on their face because they solved a problem, or that they did something that they're so creative and so happy about and feel accomplished. That makes your day. Not just my daughter, any of these kids that come out feeling this way, that's why I do this. It makes me so happy," Kothandaraman says.
