A Weston farm will feature a spooky immersive theater experience inspired by a meteor that hit the area on Dec. 1 , 1807.
"One of the biggest things to ever hit Weston, literally and figuratively was a giant meteorite," said Marc Fontaine, co-producer, co-writer and actor for Meteor.
Fontaine and his co-writer, Amy MaCrae, read about this and added a sinister fictional spin by writing an immersive theater experience called, Meteor.
"Maybe what was in this rock was of a dark matter, dark in a physical sense, dark maybe even in a spiritual sense but dark in scientific sense," explains Fontaine.
For the next two weekends, the pair will use Lachat Town Farm to tell a story that educates and makes audience members think twice.
"We really like to play with their heads," said MaCrae, "there's little pockets and spots in here that when you look at them it's a set."
