From painting to sculptures, the Weston Fine Arts Festival held Sunday had something for everyone, including mini art galleries, live music and many food trucks.
Residents say that for the last year and a half, the art community really struggled – so the festival is a great chance to rally behind artists.
The event, hosted by Weston Arts Inc. in collaboration with Gordon Fine Arts, had nearly 100 different local artists participating.
Chair of Weston Artis Patricia Perez Goodrich said, “Our mission is to support, connect and celebrate. And that’s what we’re here doing today.”
She added that celebrating is healthy for the soul.
This is the first year the festival was held, but organizers are hoping to turn it into an annual event.
