Westport Halloween children's parade returns after 2-year postponement due to pandemic

Westport's children's Halloween parade was held Thursday, two years after being postponed because of COVID-19.

Westport's children's Halloween parade was held Thursday, two years after being postponed because of COVID-19.
It was canceled last year because of the pandemic, and then rescheduled this week because of the October nor' easter.
Kids in costumes trick or treated at stores along the parade route downtown.
There was also food and entertainment on Veterans Green.
The parade is organized by the Westport Parks and Recreation Department, the Downtown Merchants Association, and Westport PAL.
