A Westport homeowner returned to her home Friday to find smoke inside her kitchen.
It happened just before 4:30 p.m. on Treadwell Avenue.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, which was contained just to the kitchen.
No one was injured.
The cause is under investigation.
