A Westport jeweler was killed during a robbery one year ago today. Police say 65 year-old Yekutiel Zeevi was murdered during a robbery at Y.Z. Jewelers. The killer got away with $300,000 in diamonds.

A Westport jeweler was killed during a robbery one year ago today.
Police say 65 year-old Yekutiel Zeevi was murdered during a robbery at Y.Z. Jewelers. The killer got away with $300,000 in diamonds.
Authorities caught the suspect in Spain, but say he took his own life while in prison.
Friends say Zeevi loved to play pick-up soccer at the Long Lots field every week. His wife still watches his friends play almost every Sunday and leaves flowers on his memorial bench.
