A popular new escape room has over 350 bookings this month for some spooky fun. The theme at the Westport Museum is Connecticut Witch Panic, with a trial-themed escape room.
Alison and Craig Patton took their son to this escape room for his 17th birthday. They say it was a "great experience" for kids and adults.
Executive Director Ramin Ganeshram of the Westport Museum says the theme is Connecticut Witch Panic from the 1600s.
"Three of the accused, one of the executed was right here in this area," said Ganeshram.
It's a unique way to show history while also being interactive and engaging.
Ganeshram says patrons are given an hour to solve the riddle of an accused witch in the historic room. They have the task of discovering evidence that proves the innocence of the accused witch or warlock.
The escape room runs through Oct. 30. To get tickets, click here. For more information, click here, here and here.
