The widow of Milford?s longest-serving mayor has announced her plan to run for state Senator. Republican Barbara Lisman says she plans to challenge Gayle Slosssberg (D-Milford) for her seat in November.

Widow of Milford's longest-serving mayor announces plan to join Senate race
The widow of Milford?s longest-serving mayor has announced her plan to run for state Senator.
Republican Barbara Lisman says she plans to challenge Gayle Slosssberg (D-Milford) for her seat in November. Lisman?s late husband, Fred, served as mayor of Milford from 1989 until 2001. Lisman says she wants to bring more jobs and industry to Connecticut.
Lisman plans to make a formal announcement at Lisman Landing on April 29.
