A Winchester woman charged with animal cruelty last month was arrested again Monday, accused of property damage and larceny in Norwalk.
Police arrested Sarah Smolak after her former landlord complained of the damage and theft at 37 Cedar Crest Place in Norwalk.
Police say the investigation revealed damage to the interior of the home and the presence of urine and fecal matter. They also found extensive damage to the lawn and found that outdoor lawn furniture and a washing machine was stolen.
She faces criminal damage of a landlord's property and larceny charges. Her bond was set at $50,000 and is scheduled to be in court April 14.
Smolak was charged with two counts of animal cruelty after police seized 24 dogs from her home in Winchester. Police say they were abused and neglected. In that case, she was released from custody on a promise to appear in court but with the condition she can't have any animals.
