Woman fatally stabbed at Bridgeport rooming house
The victim, Willesha Riddick of Bridgeport, was discovered unresponsive and bleeding at the front door of the home around 12:05 a.m., according to police.

A 41-year-old woman was found fatally stabbed at a Park Avenue rooming house shortly after midnight Tuesday following a disturbance involving several people.
The victim, Willesha Riddick of Bridgeport, was discovered unresponsive and bleeding at the front door of the home around 12:05 a.m., according to police.
She was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent’s Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. Investigators later determined she had been stabbed multiple times.
A second woman suffered a minor stab wound during the incident. She was treated at Bridgeport Hospital and released.
Authorities say the stabbings appear to be isolated and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
