A worker was killed in Trumbull when the tree he was working to remove suddenly snapped and sent him crashing to the ground.
It happened around 9 a.m. Saturday at a home on Pinewood Trail.
News 12 is told the victim was wearing a safety harness and had climbed the tree about 45 feet up when it broke at the base.
The victim has not been identified, but News 12 is told he was a 28-year-old man from Bridgeport.
