Yale reinstitutes mask requirement amid spike in COVID-19 cases
Yale announced Sunday that it plans to require all individuals on the campus to wear masks indoors despite their vaccination status.
Also, all students, faculty and staff will be required to give the university their vaccination status by Aug. 1.
The move comes after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated its guideline about mask-wearing due to the delta variant causing a spike of COVID-19 cases.
The CDC reported that the county Yale is in, New Haven County, has reached a substantial level of transmission.
