by spearheading an adopt-a-grandparent program.
After seeing how isolating this year has been inside
nursing homes, Peggy Caruso decided to bring holiday cheer in the form of gift
baskets to the Willows at Ramapo.
The facility is near and dear to Caruso because it's
where her own mom spent her final years.
For a $20 donation, Caruso is inviting people to
adopt a grandparent who will then receive a gift bag with lotion, soft socks
and something sweet.
