The American Cancer Society held its 10th annual "Women's Leading the Way to Wellness" luncheon in Stamford during Women's Health Month.
The event is designed to educate women on the importance of their well-being, according to organizers.
It also serves as a reminder to all women to prioritize their annual health screenings.
This year's event honored Dr. Madhavi Raghu and Dr. Shieva Ghofrany for their work in women's health.
The keynote speakers for the event included French American actress Stéphanie Szostak and best-selling author Gabrielle "Gabby" Bernstein.
The event has raised over $1 million for the American Cancer Society to support women's health research over the past 10 years.
