Two Bridgeport firefighters have been hospitalized after suffering severe burns in a house fire earlier today. Investigators say the blaze broke out shortly before 3 p.m. at 1643 East Main St. The firefighters suffered first- and second-degree burns to their face and hands, but are expected to recover. Residents were inside the home at the time, but escaped unharmed. There is no word yet on a possible cause of the fire.
