Two people were rushed to the hospital early Friday after their car crashed into a house in Fairfield.
The accident happened at around 1:30 a.m. on Church Hill Road near Fairfield Wood. Local fire and police officials were called to the scene, finding the car?s windows smashed in from the impact.
The driver, Christine Bianchi, of Clinton, was taken to Saint Vincent's Medical Center with serious injuries. The passenger, Francis Fisto, was treated and released from Bridgeport Hospital.
Both Bianchi and Clinton are expected to recover.
Police have not disclosed whether the driver has been charged in connection with the accident.
