Connecticut stores usually see long lines when the Powerball jackpot reaches high numbers, however, that was not the case on Greenwich Avenue Wednesday. Some people say they have waited hours in the past to buy lottery tickets at Te Amo News in Greenwich. After weeks with no top winner, the jackpot has grown to $300 million and storeowners say they were expecting longer lines. Some speculated that office hours or the snow might have resulted in the low turnout. Those who didn't buy tickets don't have much time left. The numbers will be drawn Thursday.
