Fire officials: 2 Families displaced after Norwalk condo fire
A condo fire displaced two families in Norwalk, officials say.
The fire broke out Wednesday at a condo complex at 24 Suncrest Road around 3:35 p.m.
Firefighters say there was heavy fire and black smoke on the rear of the building.
The fire, which damaged the condo's attic, roof and siding, was thought to be extinguished shortly after crews arrived but appeared to reignite overnight.
Officials say two units were deemed unfit for occupancy and the tenants were relocated by the Norwalk Housing Authority.
No one was injured as a result of the fire.
The Norwalk Fire Marshal Division is investigating the cause.
