A new art piece in Stamford hopes to inspire young people.

A nearly 50-foot mural was unveiled Thursday morning at The Village in Stamford, an indoor and outdoor work and play space. It was created in collaboration with the Waterside School, whose students often visit.

The mural also features a former student of the school. The developer of The Village says the work symbolizes dreaming big.

He says he hopes the mural is the first of many interactive art pieces in The Village.
