A Bridgeport boy is giving back by organizing his own food drive to benefit the community.
Jeremy Rosa, 7, says he got the idea after he asked his mother what a food drive is. He told her he could collect 100 items and the two of them created a Facebook page for a food drive. He was able to surpass his goal of 100 items in just four days.
Jeremy says he ended up donating more than 1,000 items to the local food bank and plans to hold a food drive annually from now on.
