Officials in Bridgeport say a 9-year-old boy is recovering after he was hit by a car on Sunday.
It happened on Catherine Street near Washington Avenue.
Witnesses say the boy was taken to the hospital with a leg injury. They say his injuries are not considered life-threatening.
There is no word on whether the driver has been charged.
