A New York City man accused of impersonating a doctor and writing prescriptions for a Greenwich woman is out on bond today.
Police say John Plunkett Jr., 49, convinced the woman he was a doctor and prescribed her painkillers and injections on a regular basis.
The scam allegedly went on for longer than a month before the woman read Plunkett had been arrested on other charges. She then contacted police.
