No hearing for man accused in fatal shooting of a Spring Valley teen

Anthony Mitchell, of Haverstraw, was set to appear in court, but News 12 was told that the 23-year-old is headed to a grand jury instead.

No hearing was held Wednesday for the suspect accused of killing of a Spring Valley teen after a party earlier this month.
Anthony Mitchell, of Haverstraw, was set to appear in court, but News 12 was told that the 23-year-old is headed to a grand jury instead.
Mitchell is charged with murder in the death of Trey Cineus.
Cineus was shot and killed back on July 8 after leaving a party on West Eckerson Road.
Mitchell pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder last week and was remanded to jail with no bail.
