9h agoAmtrak officials have released the identity of the man fatally struck by a train west of New Haven.
They say 23-year-old Patrick Lapenna died after being hit by a train Friday evening.
Officials say Lapenna was from Milford.
Amtrak urges the public to use caution near railroad tracks, never attempt to drive or walk around lowered gates and to only cross at designated crosswalks.
