Bridgeport residents gathered today at an anti-violence rally to show that they have had enough with the community's recent violent crimes. The group calls themselves Connecticut Against Violence. The educational summit was held at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit on Union Avenue. During the event, kids participated in activities and their parents attended workshops. Event organizers say that violence prevention starts in the schools. They say that hopefully the summit will help keep students safe all year long.
