Police say one person has been arrested in connection with the alleged kidnapping of three people that led to a melee Sunday in Greenwich.

Police say relatives of the alleged kidnapping victims showed up with baseball bats at Riverside Commons on East Putnam Avenue for a ransom exchange. Nineteen people were involved in the fight, police say.

Greenwich police say the investigation has been handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials. At least four people involved in the melee are being held for interviews and immigration violations.
