Bridgeport police have charged an 18-year-old man with murder in the fatal shooting of a teenager in January.
Police say Laheem Jones gunned down Justin Thompson as he was walking along Seaview Avenue with two friends back on Jan. 8.
Thompson died from a bullet wound to the head, while his two friends were wounded.
Police say Jones has an extensive criminal record and was in custody on charges related to another shooting last month when he was charged today.
