? Milford police arrested a suspect Wednesday night in the shooting death of a 28-year-old man found in a quiet part of the city.
Eusebio Melendez-Ventura, 22, of West Haven, is charged with kidnapping and murder in the death of 28-year-old Jose Chevere. Police say the murder is drug related.
According to investigators, Melendez-Ventura and another individual took Chevere from West Haven to Milford at gunpoint. Police say Melendez-Ventura then beat and shot him.
Investigators say more arrests are expected in the case. Melendez-Ventura is being held on $1 million bond.
