Two people have been displaced following a fire Saturday in Bridgeport.

It happened just after 7 p.m. on Lance Circle, according to authorities. A second alarm was declared to bring in additional firefighters.

Fire officials say the fire was contained to the unit where it started. However, the unit underneath sustained water damage.

The Red Cross provided shelter to the two adults affected.

No one was injured. The fire marshal's office is investigating the cause.
