An autopsy was performed Monday for a 7-month-old baby from Easton.

No information is available on the autopsy's results yet.

Police say they got a call from the Morehouse Road home Sunday morning because the baby wasn?t breathing and was unresponsive. The baby was taken to Bridgeport Hospital and pronounced dead.

The Connecticut State Police Major Crime Squad and inspectors from the state?s attorney?s office are also involved in the investigation. Police say they?re hoping to learn more about the cause of death following the autopsy.
