Gov. Ned Lamont urged those signing up for the COVID-19 vaccine in Phase 1B to be patient.
Beginning Thursday, those age 75 and older were able to sign up, totaling 1.3 million people.
At his briefing, Gov. Lamont said there are three ways to sign up:
-Booking it directly with your doctor or hospital.
-Using the new state website
-For those who aren’t computer savvy, call 877-918-2224.
The governor says the toll-free number allows callers to hold their place in line and receive a call back.
The vaccinations for those in 1B will start on Monday, but some may have to wait a few weeks to get an appointment.
