Cloudy, rainy Sunday lingers into start of workweek for Connecticut

Storm Watch Meteorologist Michele Powers says eastern parts of the tri-state area will see more rain on Sunday than the western areas.
Showers pick up into some steadier rain later Sunday into very early Monday morning.  Rain chances start to go down closer to the morning commute and through the day.
Milder temperatures are expected through most of next week.
SUNDAY: Cloudy with a few showers, especially after lunch. Highs in the 60s and lows in the 50s.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy with showers fading into the afternoon. Highs in the 60s and lows in the 50s.
TUESDAY: Partly cloudy with highs in the 60s and lows in the 50s.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with a shower chance. Highs around 70. Lows in the 50s.
THURSDAY: A mix of sun and clouds; a sprinkle or two is possible. Highs in the 60s and lows around 50.
FRIDAY: Partly cloudy with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s.
