The intersection of Palmer Hill Road and Havemeyer Lane on the Greenwich-Stamford line was temporarily closed Tuesday due to a blocked storm drain.

According to Aquarion Water Company, buildup in a storm drain on the Stamford side of Palmer Hill Road caused the water to run onto the street around 9 a.m., causing the intersection to be closed for a majority of the day.

The intersection has since reopened.
