Stamford's own Bobby Valentine was officially introduced as the Red Sox new manager on Thursday.
He is the 45th manager in Boston's franchise history.
It took Valentine a little while to get his new baseball jersey on, but it looked like he liked the way it fit.
News 12 Connecticut's Mark Sudol spoke with Valentine yesterday at Fenway Park.
Valentine says he is glad to be managing the Red Sox.
He says for those who want to root against him, it will be fun. And for those who want to support him it will be a pleasure.
