Brian Meindl and Melissa Barney charged after Fairfield fight
Fairfield police say a couple is facing charges after an argument turned violent.
Police say Brian Meindl, of Fairfield, and Melissa Barney, of Easton, were together in Melville Park Friday even though they have a total of four protective orders against each other.
Officers called to the park said Barney had bruises and marks on her face and neck.
Meindl was charged with assault and strangulation while Barney was arrested for violating a protective order.
