Detective Keith Bryant says the girl is in critical condition, but she is stable and improving.
Neighbors say there were more than 35 rounds found.
Police say this is the same intersection where a 6-year-old boy was shot four years ago.
Residents say that is why people in the neighborhood are feeling pretty nervous.Detectives believe the shooter or shooters were targeting 20-year-old Anthony Small, who was hit in the hand.
